For outdoorsy dogs, for instance, we might suggest the noncore vaccines for leptospirosis and Lyme disease, while senior canines who still socialize with other dogs need to be protected against Bordetella (kennel cough). For senior felines who still come into contact with other cats, noncore vaccines that protect against Chlamydophila Felis, feline Bordetella, and feline leukemia may be necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Titer Testing Explained<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Titer testing for pets, also known as antibody titer testing, measures the level of antibodies in a cat\u2019s or dog\u2019s blood to determine the pet\u2019s immune system response to a specific pathogen.
