What is Fear Free About?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Fear Free is an important movement in the animal care world. It is dedicated to better understanding, educating, and preventing fear, anxiety, and emotional stress in dogs and cats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting in 2016, Fear Free organized a group of respected animal experts including behaviorists, pain experts, veterinary internists, and the like to form a body of educational resources accessible to animal professionals, welfare communities, and pet owners so that we can do better for our animals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With lots of not-so-great information floating around the internet, Fear Free\u2019s goal is to keep the experts the loudest voice out there when we look to work with and train animals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fear Free Veterinary Professionals such as those on our staff<\/a> have all undergone extensive training to better recognize pain and anxiety in dogs and cats so they can prevent or decrease it wherever possible. These professionals are also dedicated to continuing to learn and grow and complete continuing education requirements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
